welcome back party and thank you

Yesterday I arrived Uettingen - my hometown - after an 13h drive through rainy Germany. And about 50 of my friends waited there for me with music, beer and sausages. Today i'm back in normal life - many things to do and not that much time like in Lund! I have to thank you guys in Lund for the great time i had - hope to see you all again!

On the last night before the "pack and hangover" day Johannes and me decided do make an big goodbye party and invite all the people we know in Lund. Before the party the "French" fraction planned a "cheese and wine" dinner - so that we were well prepared for the big party!

norway trip

Norway: 7 days of sun, rain, snow, sea, fjords, lakes, glacer, waterfalls - everything - it was a really amazing trip!





Because Johannes has already made two very nice posts (first, second) i've decided just to give additional information:

RUSS:
a crazy thing about Norway - in the last year of High School ("Gymnasium"), but before the final exams the students wear funny clothes and travel around in norway.



Asian Tourists:

Snow:
even in the mid of may are some roads closed, so that i would recommend to travel to Norway in the beginning of june, but if you want to be alone - may.


Food and alcohol:
I've never seen such a expensive country, but the most scaring thing - a sixpack of normal beer (Heineken) costs in the supermarket around 20€ - crazy.

sista april - the day everyone goes to the park

"sista april" - which means the "last day of april" is a big student celebrating day in Lund - everyone goes to the park from the early morning till the evening and drinks :) (swedes hobby) to celebrate the beginning of spring

even the boys made a "special" cake for picnic in the park

we started the day by a real bavarian breakfast (white sausages, pretzels and white beer)


and then we went to the city park of lund
in the park is a feeling of a big festival

such a day is a nice swedish invention!

After passing the oral exam I think and hope good for the written exam.

oslo party cruise

This weekend i've joined a "oslo party cruise" trip - organized by some economic students.

everything in norway is expensive (menu at mac donalds about 12€) - so it seems that they spend their money in useless stuff like double "red lights"
we took a small public transport ferry and drove to an island, just to walk around there (and some canadian guy jumped in the ice water...)

because of the good food my family brought me and being alone with the "corridor family" we made an easter dinner...
"Sauerkraut mit Klößen und Kassler" and "French Chocolade Fondue"

(@ mum: you should come and bring more "Klöße" - they liked the food!!!)

Being back from our trip to Kiruna the short story here - there's too much to tell and too less time to write!

First flown with SAS from Malmö up to Kiruna (the most northern city in Sweden, about 1700km from Malmö)


stayed 3 days in a camp in the middle of nowhere - beside a frozen lake

and beautiful nature everywhere and we are really lucky to see the northern lights, but our cameras were too bad so here are pictures from the men from austria we met.

Then stayed 3 nights in a youth hostel and rent a car to drive around (about 1000km), and especially the road to norway has a incredible nature and view.

And then took the train from Kiruna down to Lund - about 1700km - 22hours in the train from the winter to the summer!
